We worked around the clock to find the right speakers, a great venue, and compelling content for our audience of marketing and technology professionals. Now I have a better understanding of why event planners get stressed when planning a 400 person wedding! There is a lot to do. Thankfully, I can report that hard work pays off. Attendees and speakers alike provided overwhelmingly positive feedback, and by all measures, we pulled off something special. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For 2018, we plan to make it an even greater success. From creating a detailed work-back strategy to endless staff meetings, we are looking at every detail. Perhaps most importantly, we have added additional talented speakers to this year\u2019s lineup, which takes place June 6-8th in Denver. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s our latest round of speakers who will share the stage at Connect \u201818: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Jeanette McMurtry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 Author of \u201cMarketing for Dummies\u201d and \u201cBig Business Marketing for Small Business Budgets.\u201d She will help attendees grasp a deep understanding of why <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fullcontact.com\/blog\/the-psychology-of-choice\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">consumer choice and psychology<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> play key roles in marketing. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Tom Marriott <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014\u00a0Principal, Marketing &amp; Communications Leader at Deloitte. Tom has experience leading Deloitte\u2019s Marketing organization through the implementation of a full service, in house agency. He\u2019s directly involved in the development of the Firm\u2019s advertising strategy and sponsorships. He has been with Deloitte for 30+ years, most of those as a Consultant to Deloitte\u2019s clients.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Max Stossel <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014 Co-Founder of <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/humanetech.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Center for Humane Technology<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Stossel is dedicated to re-aligning technology with humanity\u2019s best interests.
